EveryWare is a research laboratory of the DICo department (Dipartimento di Informatica e Comunicazione) at the University of Milano, Italy.
Our research activities are focused on data management for mobile and pervasive computing. More specifically we are currently investigating issues at the intersection between the areas of mobile and pervasive computing, context representation and reasoning, and privacy.

Theoretical lines of research aim at the definition of formal models and techniques to deal with temporal, spatial, and spatio-temporal information, as well as with more general context information. We also investigate formal models and algorithms to deal with privacy issues in context-aware Internet services. More applicative lines of research aim at the design and implementation of middleware supporting context integration and reasoning, as well as at the design and implementation of privacy-aware mobile applications. A special effort is devoted to the generation of large-scale realistic user-movement simulations that serve as a testbed for our solutions as well as for the comparison with other solutions.
